How to build a build a Segment/Field rule validating that 2 fields have the same value
In this example, we’ll validate that values for EVN.1 and MSH.9.2 are equal.
- In the inbound HL7 task, select the Validation tab
- Select the Segment/Field Validation tab
- Add the rule: EVN.1 is = @HL7(“MSH.9.2”) where @HL7(“MSH.9.2”) refers to the field MSH.9.2 value
