The foundation of Caristix software is profiles. Profiles are another word for interface specifications, specs, or conformance profiles. They are a way to capture the data formats and code sets you need for exchanging information between systems. Profiles provide a list of message types (or trigger events), segments, fields, components, sub-components, data types, and data tables that are specific to a system.
