This generator pulls data from HL7-related tables stored in a profile. Read how to set the profile.
How to configure the generator to use the appropriate HL7 table
- Random values
- Randomly generate values from an HL7 table.
- Source. Select the profile containing the table.
- Table. Select a table from which the value will be generated.
- To access the table content, click on the Edit Table button. If you change the table content, the new table content will appear in the profile you
select. - Restrict to values between. Will only use table entries that are within the specified limits.
- Include random blanks. Allowing random blanks will mean that you generate empty strings among the values for use in the field or data type.
- Sequential list
- Generate a sequence of value starting with the first table entry.
- Source. Select the profile containing the table.
- Table. Select a table from which the value will be generated.
- To access the table content, click on the Edit Table button. If you change the table content, the new table content will appear in the profile you
select. - Restrict to values between. Will only use table entries that are within the specified limits.
- Start new line. Always start with the first entry of the table.
- Continue from previous list. If you run the test and it ends with the 13th entry, the next time it will start with the 14th.
