Caristix Conformance v1.16 Release Notes

By sovita.chander@caristix.com | Published: February 28th, 2011

We’ve just released Caristix Conformance v1.16, Caristix software for HL7 interface management. The major updates focus on enhancing usability in the Reverse Engineering tool. We’ve got several more enhancement requests in the feature pipeline, so stay tuned for a bigger Conformance update in the upcoming weeks.

Here’s what’s new in v1.16.

Reverse Engineering Usability

(The Reverse Engineering tool reads HL7 data and outputs an interface specification: message types used, segments (including Z-segments), fields, data types, and tables.)

Progress Bar When Loading Messages

When you load a large message log (for instance, 40,000 messages with a multitude of events and segments), it might take a few minutes to load. Now, you’ll know that they’re loading, instead of wondering if the application has frozen.

Cancel Button for Loading Messages

This button is useful when you’re loading a large message log. You no longer need to split large files. You can stop loading whenever you want, and analyze those initial messages. (Smaller message logs may load so quickly that you won’t even see the Cancel button.)

Page View in Messages Area

You can now page through messages, rather than looking at just 100 at a time or all of them at once. This makes message display a lot faster.
